FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Monday, April 15, 2013

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - LoneStarCon 3, the 71st World Science Fiction Convention ("Worldcon"), has launched online registration for its Dealers' Room and has also reduced its prices for participating vendors.

LoneStarCon 3 invites booksellers, publishers, magazines, artists and merchants of all kinds to take advantage of the improved arrangements and of the four thousand science fiction fans who will be attending the convention.

Table prices for 8 ft x 30 in tables are now $175 for a single table (unchanged), $200 per table (previously $250) for two or more tables (maximum five allowed per dealer). Prices for 10 ft x 10 ft booths have been reduced from $750 to $500 for the run of the convention.

Tables and booths can be reserved for a deposit of $100 each, with the balance to be paid by Wednesday, July 31, 2013.

Each dealer is also entitled to purchase up to two attending memberships for their staff at a reduced rate of $180 each. These can be allocated to named individuals or used on a rotating locum tenens basis, so long as the total number of warm bodies on site does not exceed the number of paid memberships for a given dealer.

Dealers can take advantage of these improved terms using the newly released online registration service, available at www.lonestarcon3.org/dealer/. This enables dealers to reserve space and pay their deposit by credit card in a single transaction. Alternatively, paper applications can be submitted by postal mail with deposits paid by check.

Questions on the LoneStarCon 3 Dealers' Room may be directed to Steve Francis, Dealers' Room Manager, at dealers@LoneStarCon3.org.
