This page is the main Media and Press Center for LoneStarCon 3. Our objective is to make it easy for press and media contacts to find us, to get in touch with us, and to get and download information that they can use. This includes copies of all our official Press Releases and other useful material.

LoneStarCon 3 Press Office Information

During LoneStarCon 3, the Press Office will be located in the Convention Center Gallery, adjacent to Exhibit Hall A, next to the Newsletter area.

The Press Office will be open at these times:

  • Thursday, August 29, noon - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, August 30, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 31, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 1, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Monday, September 2, 10 a.m. - noon

Press Office staff will also be available during Opening Ceremonies (Thursday afternoon), the Masquerade (Saturday evening) and the Hugo Awards Ceremony (Sunday evening).

We will he holding an open press conference on Thursday, August 29 at 10 a.m. in Room 101B of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. This will feature the majority of our guests as well as senior convention staff. If you plan to attend, please let us know by contacting us at
