2013 Hugo Awards and Voter Packet

The final ballot for the 2013 Hugo Awards and John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer is now under way. The voting deadline is Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:59pm CDT.. Ballots can be submitted online or by postal mail. The online ballot form and a printable PDF ballot form can both be found on the main Hugo Awards page. Full details of this year's finalists can be found on the nominees page. The 2013 Hugo Voter Packet has also been released. This electronic package of nominated works is graciously made available to voters by nominees and their publishers. It is available to Supporting, Attending, Military and Young Adult members of LoneStarCon 3 to help inform them about the works under consideration before voting. The packet will remain available until voting closes. |
2013 Hugo Awards Trophy Base
We are delighted to announce that Texas artist Vincent Villafranca will be designing the 2013 Hugo Award trophy base. As is traditional, the design will only be revealed at the convention - but we can tell you it's in bronze. And here is a picture (taken by John Davis) of Vincent actually pouring the molten bronze to prove it!
